Elevate your pool deck and its surrounding space with help from Green Scapes Landscapes, the best pool landscaping & design company serving Fayetteville, Peachtree City and many nearby communities.
Your backyard pool deserves more than just concrete and a chain-link fence. At Green Scapes Landscapes, we specialize in creating complete outdoor environments that transform ordinary pools into stunning entertainment spaces throughout Fayetteville, Peachtree City and the surrounding areas. Our pool landscaping services integrate your pool with the natural beauty of your property while solving common Georgia challenges like clay soil drainage, intense summer heat, and year-round maintenance concerns.
We approach every pool landscaping project by considering how you actually use your outdoor space. Whether you’re hosting weekend cookouts, watching your kids play in the water, or unwinding after a long day, a pool landscape should enhance those experiences. Our team designs and installs custom hardscaping features including paver pool decks, natural stone coping, outdoor kitchens, and fire features that create defined entertaining zones around your pool. We select plant materials that thrive in Georgia’s climate while minimizing the leaves, seeds, and debris that constantly plague pool owners. Strategic placement of ornamental grasses, knockout roses, and compact evergreens provides privacy and visual interest without creating maintenance headaches.

Most Fayetteville pools lack adequate privacy, leaving homeowners feeling exposed to neighbors every time they want to enjoy their backyard. We install custom privacy solutions including composite fencing, decorative screen walls, and strategically placed evergreen plantings that block sight lines year-round without sacrificing airflow or creating a boxed-in feeling. Beyond privacy, the areas surrounding your pool need shade to be functional during Georgia summers.
We design and build pergolas, covered patios, and pavilions that provide relief from brutal sun for your outdoor kitchen, dining area, and lounge spaces. These structures create comfortable zones where guests can escape the heat without leaving your backyard, turning your pool area into a complete entertainment destination rather than just a place to swim. The integration of shaded outdoor living spaces with your pool landscape adds significant property value while making your backyard actually usable during peak summer months.
Clay soil around the greater Fayetteville area creates serious drainage problems that damage pool decks, flood entertainment areas, and turn lawns into mud pits during our heavy rain events. We regrade your pool area to direct water away from hardscaping and structures, install French drains where needed, and create positive drainage throughout your landscape. Proper grading prevents the standing water that breeds mosquitoes and makes your pool area unusable for days after storms. We’ve solved drainage issues for dozens of pool owners across Fayette County who were dealing with erosion, settling pavers, and perpetually soggy lawns.
Pool maintenance already demands enough of your time without adding high-maintenance landscaping to your weekend chore list. We select plant materials based on three criteria: minimal debris, heat tolerance, and resistance to chlorine splash. Our designs incorporate groundcovers and mulched beds that suppress weeds while maintaining clean, defined edges around your pool deck. The result is a landscape that looks professionally maintained without requiring constant attention, giving you more time to actually enjoy your pool.
